These industrial quality drill bits are produced from M-2 High Speed Steel. Because of their bright finish and smooth surface to enhance chip removal action these drill bits are recommended for drilling aluminum alloys. They are not limited to use on these alloys and will perform well when drilling other materials. Drill bits have a straight shank style and are suitable for holding in drill chucks and other standard tool holders. They can be used on a variety of equipment such as hand-held drill motors, drill presses, lathes, milling machines, etc.
